Adolescencia y transmisión de la fe cristiana. Claves para pensar la religiosidad en el contexto escolar

Abstract

The aim of the present text is to situate the theme of religiosity during adolescence in the context of Chilean religious school education, assuming the complexity of a transmission of the faith in this stage of life. Adolescence is a stage marked by the concept of crisis and the search for identity. The transmission of faith at this age can not be disregarded from this reality and must assume in its formation processes a pedagogical perspective that integrates the challenges that it demands. Unfortunately, an analysis of the religious school education program will indicate that the formation itineraries do not always consistently assume a process of faith development such as those proposed, for example, by J. Fowler. In the approach to this theme we will seek, from the theology, a dialogue that assumes the perspective of the psychology of religion, as part of a science of religion, and of pedagogy.
