John Henry Newman: Un Precursor de la Teología Fundamental

Abstract

The Fundamental theology is a theological discipline relatively new in the history of theology. Its appareance is due –in large part–, to the historical circumstances that arose in modern times and the serious questions that reason began to require from faith. The John Henry Newman`s thought provides an indispensable input for the emerging discipline, and the idea of this article is to evoke precisely the moment that the newmanian contribution devoted to the emerging challenge of putting faith in dialogue with reason in what is now Know as fundamental theology
