Abstract

This article aim to enlighten the meaning of the divine prohibition of eating the fruit of knowledge of good and evil (Gn 2,16-17 y 3,1-5); with this purpose recurred to the authentic wisdom from Middle East, to the Israelite linked to Salomon’s representation and to the reflection about immortality content in the Epic of Gilgamesh.
