La renovación eclesiológica del Vaticano II, sus procesos de recepción y sus desarrollos hasta la Conferencia de Aparecida

Abstract

The 50th anniversary of the II Vatican Council (inaugurated on October 11, 1962) provides a privileged occasion to bring together a certain evaluative outlook. This is a “certain” evaluative outlook , because 50 years is the period of a generation that permit the recognition of changes, concrete contributions, specific limitations and some pending tasks; on the other hand, an ecclesial event of this magnitude and significance requires the outlook of many perspectives on the longer term to recognize all the wealth of its contributions. In virtue of this historical perspective in which the content of faith is formulated, in theology, the hermeneutics of the councils is an ongoing task.
